What is the best thread for 8/0 seed beads for multi strand 18" necklace? & Clasp?
I'm brand new at bead crafting. =)
What is the best thread to use with opalescent pale glass seed beads please? Research at craft store and google unfruitful. I prefer not to use anything waxed. And no wire for this one, needs to be soft not stiff.
I want to make an 18" 10 strand necklace like the one here: http://i20.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/b6/11/4380_1_sbl.JPG except it will have a big floating pendant.
Can I attach the clasps without crimping beads? I don't want to invest in tools as this is my very first try and don't know if I want to commit to more in the future so I'm keeping it simple and costs down.
What do you recommend for closure? Please explain steps as I'm new (Only know what crimping beads are bc I saw on youtube).

you can use a bead cone and tie it instead of crimping it. Here's a video on how to do it.

I would just use a hook clasp for that necklace
