My roses are very few leaves. Received flowers to bloom, but not much foilage?
I I live in central Florida and as a hammer off and harvest. I tried different types and combinations of fertilizers and when using a mixture of bone meal, England salt, Miracle grow. I well and they have good drainage (Live in Fla) was raised bed with compost / garden soil mixture became the natural bed. I have a bed covered with mulch Cyprus. So what gives ... to get flower, but leaves are very small!
Hmmm, that sounds doing everything you do. Course , most people will be delighted by the presence many flowers, but I can not understand its concern about not having a lot of greenery. The only thing I can guess is that using something with high nitrogen. Blood food is pure nitrogen (organic plus), so you can try mixing that in his soil. The only objection - dogs and other "meat-lovers are attracted the smell of blood so that they can a problem. Good luck and I hope this information helps.
