Flower Cluster
Can I do pruning my roses in August.I am having cluster flowered rose(floribunda type).I am residing in Pune.?

Please tell me how often can I prune my roses.

Pruning of roses is generally done/recommneded during october and february.If done in august,there may be a fungus attack on the plant.However if there is much necessity to do so then you can apply bodo paste on the cut to avoid such an eventuality.Bodo-paste is:- 1part of copper sulphate+8 parts of slaked lime+some oil, suffice to make a paste.
